Sofia Macaluso is a New York City based actress known for her powerful vocals and her commanding presence. Sofia was born in Atlanta, Georgia and recently graduated from The University of Oklahoma’s Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre. A southern belle through and through, Sofia brought her cowboy boots up with her when she made the move to NYC.
Some of her favorite regional credits include Theatre Aspen, Music Theatre Wichita, and Casa Manaña. Whether it be campy comedy or intense drama, pop-rock or legit, Sofia will always root herself in truth-based, engaging, and unique storytelling. When not working, she can be found with rollers in her hair, writing in her blog, boxing, or curating a perfect, new Spotify playlist for whatever season of life she’s in.
